Best Image-to-Video AI Tools — 2026
Tools that take a still image and bring it to life, ranked by measured output quality from public blind-vote leaderboards and rechecked automatically every day. Where no leaderboard covers a tool yet, we publish a clearly marked provisional estimate rather than leaving a gap.

How the order is decided. The score is an expected win rate: out of 100 blind comparisons against a typical model in this field, how many this tool would be expected to win. It comes from public leaderboards where people compare two clips from the same prompt without knowing which model made each. 50 means exactly as good as a typical model, so a 40 is a solid tool that loses slightly more often than it wins – not a bad one. Where several tools serve the same underlying engine, we name the model that was actually measured, so identical scores are explained rather than hidden. Ease of use and value for money are our own editorial assessment and are shown for context only; they do not move a tool up or down. 5 tools in this category are listed without a score, at the bottom: no independent benchmark covers them and we do not have enough named public sources for an estimate. We would rather show the gap than a number we cannot back up. Full methodology and sources →
